The RWTH organizing committee, existing of: Prof. Bernd Lottermoser, Max Berner, Antje Matthäus, ensured that the event was again an excellent opportunity to renew and strengthen the participant’s network.
Twenty years ago, on 29 September 1996, the first EMC program started in Helsinki with 8 students from 4 universities. This year’s reunion celebrated the 20th anniversary and plans for the future were discussed. The emphasis of the 2016 FEMP reunion was on the social contacts between the various groups of participant with ample opportunity for the industry to develop and strengthen professional contacts with the students and the alumni.
It was a very good opportunity for alumni to see their old friends and for the current students and graduates of 2016 to meet once more before moving to other parts of the world. The program summary including a list of participants can be downloaded here. A pdf with the information about the FEMP member companies present and the sponsors cab be downloaded from here and a pdf with the presentation about 20 years EMMEP from here.
