 FEMP
is the organisation that co-ordinates the 2 year Eramus
Mundus Minerals and Environmental Program (EMMEP) for students
in Mining- and Geotechnical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Recycling
and related academic studies. There are three different specialisations;
accommodating groups with 15 to 20 students each. Participating students study together at universities in four different European countries for one of the two academic years. During the last eight months, I have experienced a vast mixture of mining, culture, and fun. By participating in this program, I have gained a better understanding of the international industry. No longer will I see the Atlantic as an ocean, but merely as a pond that takes a few hours to fly over...
